Membership in Business Men's Fellowship USA

Our National Board has written the order of commitment for BMF membership to focus on three main points of commitment. This membership commitment embraces the biblical requirements of combined faith and action as true followers of Jesus Christ.

As a member of the Business Men's Fellowship USA, you signify your commitment to:

1. Support the Christian beliefs of BMFUSA.
2. Commit your time and talents to reach men for Christ in your sphere of influence.
3. Financially support the work of BMF to bring the salvation of Christ to men in the marketplace.

Jesus commanded us to be His witnesses. Imagine BMF meetings in every town and city in this nation! It's a big dream, and God has entrusted its fulfillment to us. By laboring and giving together, we will see that happen.

Your labor, done wholeheartedly, honors God and is worship. Your earnings from that work represent your life. Your financial gift is seen in scripture as an act of obedience and worship. With each member's full support, we have the ability to welcome thousands of men into the family of God. Let's be found faithful.

Your basic Business Men's Fellowship membership is valid for one year, unless you choose a longer period of commitment prior to your renewal date.

Called to be a harvest machine:

As a supporting member, you partner with all BMF members in building the "harvest machine" the Holy Spirit has called us to be. The Holy Spirit is moving in the marketplace, and each new chapter provides a setting for unsaved/unchurched men to hear testimonies of how the Holy Spirit can change, guide, and empower lives that are surrendered to Him.

Freedom to give as your heart directs:

Your first year of membership is entirely free and any financial commitment is always your personal choice. We do encourage you to prayerfully consider the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:19-21; He spoke of investing our financial "treasure" in His Kingdom:

"...But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

As you pray, consider the eternal consequences of your calling, and give as the Holy Spirit directs.

Please invite a friend to join you in bringing the salvation of Christ to people in the marketplace.

We encourage our members to support and attend the local church of their choice. Many of our members serve as board members, elders, and leaders supporting the work of the church we attend. All Business Men's Fellowship members envision the growth of the local church coming through our marketplace evangelism efforts.

The outreach efforts of the local church

The Business Men's Fellowship is called to mobilize and equip Christian businessmen who desire to reach their peers in business with the message of salvation in Christ. BMF is not called to manage or operate a local church men's ministry. However, because BMF members are generally local church members, they feel a sense of responsibility to communicate the heart of marketplace evangelism to other Christian businessmen. As a result those men may desire to form a local chapter. With this in mind, BMF has created a resource package that the businessmen of a local church can use to establish a Business Men's Fellowship Chapter.

Will the local church have any responsibilities to BMFUSA?

Will the local church have any responsibilities to BMFUSA? Should businessmen from a local church men's group decide to start a BMF chapter, the church itself has no financial commitment or responsibility to BMFUSA. Our single call is to equip Christian businessmen to bring the salvation of Jesus Christ to our nation's business communities.
